Over the past two years, the intralogistics sector has endured strong stress, caused by the e-commerce boom of 2020 and of the speed generated in 2021 by companies that saw themselves obligated to increase their storage capacity and internal management.

Roberta Togni, General Counsel & CSR Officer of Automha, was a guest as leader of AISEM Intralogistics Systems on the program Italia 4.0, broadcasted on CNBC channel, to speak about the role of technologies in intralogistics.

The changes that affected the intralogistics sector were significant: the demands of the market have changed and simultaneously, within companies, technologies have spread to face new transport flows. Roberta Togni’s focus also concerned the changes brought to ways of working, the addition of new professional figures tied to automation processes, and the digitalization of financial operations in the Italian government.

The year 2022 will be a year rich with changes: from huge technological development in the software and hardware sphere to great attention dedicated to future generations, up to the investments in intralogistics products and solutions in the field of environmental sustainability.
