Presented in the last few days at Mecspe Trade Show, the Autosat G9 is the 9^th generation of the shuttle machine designed for pallet storage in all industrial sectors and adaptable to any brand’s shelving. The new release of Autosat G9 completes a decisively positive painting of an innovative version of Automha’s first product, handling an equal number of applied loads, being more resistant in time, higher-performing and even more reliable.

It’s called Autosat G9 and it’s the newest machine from Automha, leading company in the industrial automation and intralogistics sector, specializing in planning, production, and installation of automatic warehouses. It was 2002 when Franco Togni, founder and President of the company, decided to patent Autosat, a semi-automatic shuttle for intensive multi-depth pallet storage. Groundbreaking at the time, it revolutionized drive-in storage as the first absolute model, and for Togni and Walter Danne, today Automha’s R&D Director, made reaching their goal, on which they were fixated throughout the 90s, possible: to create completely automatic warehouses. “The idea to withdraw pallets without the need of a human operator was a challenge for us” explains the Automha President in his biography A che ora hai il volo. A challenge that today comes up and is newly faced, through a different lens, through a new Autosat, completely renovated in the assembly and materials: in stainless steel, it was planned by the Automha team with the goal of being even more efficient than its predecessor. G9 is the 9^th generation of the shuttle machine for pallet storage in all industrial sectors and adaptable to any brand’s shelving. Fueled by an extractable lithium battery, it’s much faster and more productive than the parent version, as well as higher performing. The supporting structure, for example, was completely redesigned by Automha professionals: by means of modular assembly of stainless-steel elements certified X5 CrNi 18-10 (ex AISI 304), in a way to avoid the need of painting or any risk of corrosion. Furthermore, the welding is eliminated and replaced by an assembly with a special structural glue from aeronautical technology that lets you avoid matching parts in the mechanical assembly. Other newness, beyond the innovative lifting pantograph, was the replacement of DC buzz cut motors with traction motors and brushless lifting, more compact, to make the kinematics and vehicle performances more dynamic, eliminating the periodic maintenance activity. The sliding odometric wheels are also new, ensuring better safety, mechanical resistance and a higher resistance to wear and higher speed. The elimination of conventional wiring was possible thanks to the insertion of point to point connections able to increase position precision and the vehicle responses to commands.
