On Sunday, May 30, 2021 was held the inauguration of the new headquarters of Automha, a leading company in the design, production and implementation of intralogistic systems, an excellence Made in Italy that over time has broadened its horizons, opening commercial offices all over the world.

A significant date, which coincides with the 70th birthday of the founder and President Franco Togni: «Opening the doors of the new Automha headquarters is the crowning of a dream. The result of over forty years of commitment, will and passion. A new chapter in our company history».

The new headquarters, which is spread over an area of more than 7,000 square meters already for industrial use, was completely renovated in the last year. «We are proud of how, despite everything, we managed to overcome the difficulties. Thanks to a strong company solidity built year after year, we faced the situation by remaining united and reaping the fruits of a mutual trust built over time, investing in the enhancement of resources and in new spaces that today, 300 days after the laying of the first stone, we were finally able to inaugurate» comments Gianni Togni, Vice-President Automha.

In 1991 Automha moved its headquarters to Azzano San Paolo in via Emilia 6. Today, after 30 years, the company dedicates the offices of number 6 to the R&D department and inaugurates the new headquarters at number 23 of the same street. This center will host the executive offices and the warehouse, while the logistics department will be located in via Emilia 18.

The offices of the new HQ are characterized by large open spaces, designed to stimulate synergy and interconnection between employees. The philosophy with which they were designed focuses on the importance of the team, providing areas specifically designed for the sharing of ideas and the meeting between colleagues, an element at the basis of the corporate culture creation capable of making the Automha team stronger and more productive. In the new headquarters there are also moments of conviviality, thanks to modern break areas, with drinkable water dispensers and LED screens to project daily news and business updates. The company also wanted to guarantee the free canteen service to all employees, in a new comfortable and bright space, with a dedicated area for book sharing.

The new Automha headquarters expresses attention to sustainability: fundamental was the desire not to occupy new soil, but to intervene on an existing industrial site with reclamation, recovery and redevelopment. In particular, interventions were carried out with the aim of restoring drainage capacity to the ground through specific flooring, was created a large green area on a surface first cemented, hydraulic works have been carried out to contain and manage large quantities of water generated by precipitation. For the facades, thermal and acoustic insulation, the furniture, totally formaldehyde-free and characterized by great attention to ergonomics, recycled and recyclable materials were chosen.

Furthermore, great attention has been paid to energy consumption: the lighting system is entirely entrusted to the latest generation LED projectors, which guarantee, in addition to low electrical absorption, controlled light flows and ideal color temperatures; the air conditioning is generated by low absorption heat pumps and a mechanical ventilation system ensures excellent comfort and maximum hygienic health. Finally, columns were set up for charging electric cars and the external entrance floor was made with wood obtained from sustainable plantations.

The event of 30 May aims to represent the restart of Automha and the business world in general. In fact, here was no lack of support for the territory, which we know was the sad protagonist of the health emergency in Italy. Numerous local companies have been called to collaborate, including Boschini S.r.l. for building works, Seriana Edilizia S.r.l. for anti-seismic adjustments, Kennew S.r.l. for roofing interventions, Cosmet S.r.l. for metal constructions. Idraulica Delprato S.r.l. and Colman Luca s.r.l have set up respectively the hydraulic and electrical installations, Mico S.r.l. took care of the works by window manufacturers and Telmotor S.p.A. of the lighting fixtures. There are the GE Giussani mobile walls and the furnishings were supplied by IVM, Misuraemme and Mobili Fucili. Sangalli Tecnologie took care of the installation of the Art Wall visible at the entrance of the new headquarters. The project was managed by Iriam Bettera Design – Studio di Architettura.

The main authorities of the territory were also present at the inauguration: Major Marshal Giuseppe Carbone, Commander of the Stezzano Police Station; Captain Crescenzo Maglione, Commander Company of the Bergamo Law Enforcement; Lucio De Luca, Mayor of Azzano San Paolo, also present at the laying of the site foundation stone on 12 June 2020; Monsignor Giulio Dellavite, General Secretary of the Bergamo Diocese Episcopal Curia; Maurizio Tansini, President of AISEM – Italian Association of Lifting, Elevation and Handling Systems, a group in which Roberta Togni, General Counsel and CSR Officer Automha, heads the “Intralogistic Systems” section.
